So Google has put together a crisis map for Hurricane Harvey. It has a ton of information on it including evacuation routes, closed roads, precipitation, shelter locations, etc. The most helpful thing I found that will hopefully be very helpful to many of you is that they have satellite imagery of the NOAA flyovers they've done in damaged areas. They did one flight on the 27th and two flights yesterday. You can zoom in fairly close and get an idea of damaged neighborhoods, locations and homes. So for those of you wondering about property along this coast, this could possibly help you out.
My assumption is that they'll continue to add more satellite imagery as more places become visible from the air. Anyway, you have to turn on and off the layers on the right hand side of the map to see the flights and then click the link to "Zoom to area." This will allow you to look at the current satellite imagery of yesterday's flight. Keep in mind, this doesn't have everything, but for those of you looking for information on areas such as Padre Island, Port A, Rockport, Fulton, etc, this could be helpful.
I've already turned on the layers from all the flights they have and hopefully this comes through in the link. Just zoom in on the gray/black bands you see and that's the satellite imagery of their flights. I hope this helps some of you as much as it did me.

EDIT - So the link didn't come through with the layers I selected. Go to the right side and click the link for View All Layers. Check the box for NOAA Imagery. Then check the boxes for the flight date--I would check all of them so it turns them on. Lastly, click Zoom to Area and it will take you to the areas that they've flown.
