I'm in Idylwood, Wayside and Lawndale,Brays has been out of its banks since Sat evening/ Sun morning which isnt surprising, but I've lived in the neighborhood my whole life and this is the first time I've seen the bayou run up onto the Lawndale bridge - this was on Sunday afternoon. However, I saw it was passable around noon today.
My house is closer to Wayside and so far so good. Most of the flooding seems to be where it always is at the park and over N. MacGregor running up some of the neighborhood streets from there. On my street, from what I can tell the waters are at the 100 year flood plain maybe a bit more, but not yet at the 500yr. My mother in law lives in Eastwood near S.F. Austin high school and all seemed okay in that area. Ive heard that the Fiesta on Wayside, right across from Wortham Golf Course, is open in case anyone in the area needs food/supplies.
I haven't made it further into downtown than Lockwood so I cant comment on how that area is doing.
