Just wanted a place e eryone can share news, shelter, traffic, food info.....

Northpoint Blvd open to 249

I came in from college station tbis afternoon and the 99/telge rd exit is completely underwater. We exited 249 and still drove through standing water but was able to exit.

We are going to try and get to my in laws tomorrow in San Antonio by going 290 to 6 to 21....

Were you able to go inbound from 290 and make it all the way to 99? Is 249 South from 99 open?

Anyone have any info on Grant and Louetta? I have family just south of that intersection and need to know if anyone in the near vicinity is experiencing water in their homes.

My family's street seems to be handling everything well, but the non-stop rain today is causing some concern.

Yes 290 south from 6 to 99 was open...no water over the roads. We exited 99 east towards 249. We exited 249 and were able to drive down 249 to northpoint blvd...no water on the road

We know someone who lives off Louetta in between Grant and lakewood forest....they have standing water in their house now. It receded and is now back actually

Not quite as far north as Tomball/Spring but my brother's house near Cypresswood and Champions has a few feet of water per reports from neighbors. Brother and wife are stuck in Vegas.

This is a little bit further southeast, but this is 1960/ella, Ponderosa. Easily 6-7' of water.

Is 249 from the beltway to 99 clear? Brother-in-law is being forced out due to planned release from Addicks dam and trying to reach family in college station. 290 is supposedly blocked at cypress creek, so trying to find a way around.

Can anyone help me with routing? Sister and family are getting on boat now at Mason and Fry near Cinco Ranch, think they're taking her to that middle school on the other side of that intersection.

Need to route from 249 and the Beltway towards her.

Yeah, I went 290 to GP to 249 to the Beltway, all the way to Greenspoint and back yesteday. It was still rising at Cyrpesswood and 99 had some spots that looked like they could be getting dicey closer to 290. Drive at slower than normal speeds, because the water can just popup especially coming over hills.

Also watch for people driving the wrong way on the freeway. If that doesn't make you clench a little bit, nothing will. Your only thought is WTF is up there, but a lot of times its because the feeders and turnaround are wrecked.

249 clear from Beltway to Pinehurst NB. Cannot confirm beyond Hardin Store Road but do not know of any specific issues up that way.

does anyone know if 99 (grand parkway) is clear between 290 and 45? I can see on the map that there is flooding at FM 2920 and 99, but I am not sure if 99 is clear in that area?

99 goes under 2920, if there is flooding there then don't try 99. You could pop into Spring Cypress and make your way towards 45. I just drove Spring Cypress a ways and it's pretty clear.
