Thought I would get it started.

We aren't flooded in Friendswood at this point but good gracious can it stop raining! My husband has been at a hotel near IAH but made it home today after a 3 hour drive which took him all over. He had quite a flood tour and said basically Houston is ****ed up.

288 side of Pearland (Silverlake). Been steady all day but streets are clear in neighborhood. Haven't been out of the house since early Saturday so not sure what the rest of town is like.

Have a daughter and SIL near Dickinson. They are east of Hwy 3 and have not been impacted yet. They are dry and have power. We had a long discussion this afternoon about whether to stay or evacuate. Too late to drive out though. Only evacuation option would be to walk to some collection point and then get hauled to a shelter. We finally decided that they were okay with staying where they are for now. They have friends in the area doing boat rescues who they can call for assistance if needed. No good choices. Terrible to be 300 miles away and having to help with this decision. Hope we did right.

Southdown close to the Westside EC. The water in my street has slowly risen all day. Going to be another sleepless night.

Tuscan Lakes in LC north of 96. Dodged a 500 yr flood by 6 inches early Sunday am. We should be good from here on out -- barring something biblical, which is disturbingly common the last few days.

Prayers to neighbors in Dickenson -- please post here if we can help out.

Dickinson is under mandatory evacuation. I'm not really sure how people are supposed to get out though.

Audobon Place between Harkey and Mclean, Pearland

Water drained completely this morning and it has been climbing steadily all day.

I've been in and out of pearland a few times over the past two days. Hughes road to Blackhawk to get out. We take it up the feeder on the beltway and then get on the 45 N feeder to get up to fuqua.

Only high points are right in front of Dobie high school and that corner where the beltway feeder meets 45.

Howdy, all.

My father is in Clear Lake Forest and my kid is in Santa Fe.

Does anybody have any news on those places?

The houses they are in were dry as of a few hours ago. They don't have any info on the road conditions in those areas in case they need to evacuate.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, that's when we had the first discussion today about staying or going. They're east of Hwy 3 and the area that has seen the flooding. They've stayed dry through all of this and still have power. Like you say, part of our discussion was where to go. Their cars won't make it through a flooded street.

Silver Creek engineers deserve a raise. Whole neighborhood has handled the storm really well. Only issue has been some entrances collecting water.

I think with both of those locations it's case by base based on the location of the home. All I can tell you is we've been getting rain all day but not at the rate we got previously.

Dude, you ain't kidding! I can't believe our street hasn't flooded at all. I'm tempted to put the house on the market for $1,000,000 after this saying we stayed dry during Harvey!

Agreed. Pirate's Landing in seabrook is fine, but classic cafe & knot heads next door had major flooding.

Most of Santa Fe flooded. My home had 10"-12" of water in it and we have never flooded, not even in Allison and we lost most of our furniture. My brother works for the city and has been doing high water rescues since early Sunday morning(started around 2:30am) and most of the day Sunday. We're on the Northeast side of the railroad tracks off of 4th street/cemetery road. The other side where it's prone to flooding had a lot of water standing. A few of my friends in the area had over 4' in their homes as well and my brother couldn't reach anyone past a certain point in a dump truck. A lot of businesses as well went under water. We are about to have water in our home again if this rain doesn't ease off.

We just moved from Shadow Creek Ranch and have a lot of friends still there and it done ok for the most part but the water is not going down. Clear Creek just can't take anymore water. Lots of nervous folks over there on the lakes watching the water rise.

Sedona in League City, just west of I-45 off of League City Pkwy down Hobbs Road. We nearly had water in the house when "The Band" hit the other night, but all of that water drained off over the course of about 2-3 hours, and we have not had any flooding issues in our neighborhood since. Despite the barrage we're getting right now, our streets haven't even flooded. Hoping that continues to be the case.

We feel helpless though, because there are just so so many who are really struggling and haven't fared near as well as we have...yet we're surrounded by flooding and can't get anywhere to help. Just hoping that everyone who needs it is getting the help and assistance they need.

We have about 12 employees of our 200 that have flooded so far. Very sad stories coming and it going to be a long haul these upcoming months. Prayers go out to everyone.

Live here in Park Village Estates in Pearland, water is a quarter of the way up our drive way and the level of it is fluctuating. If anyone needs help in this area, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Evacuated from Park on Clear Creek (west of 45 on the north side of 518) by boat at 3:30 yesterday afternoon. Had about 6" of water in the house.

When we went to bed Saturday night at 11:00 the Creek was at 9.73 feet. At 6:30 Sunday morning the Creek was at 22.29 feet. Crested Sunday afternoon at 23.49 feet.

It dropped down to 21.89 feet at 11:45 this morning but is rising again. As of 9:15 tonight it is up to 23.15 feet.

That's where the game wardens drop us off Sunday. Neighbors said the water went down out of houses then was creeping back up in Autumn Creek

In Southgate near CostCo just west of 288. Went out a little while ago to check on my weep holes and saw an 18-20 inch swimming around in my driveway. We've weathered most of this storm without water in the house but when I look at the forecast with no letup in the rain, unfortunately I think tonight may be the night.

A buddy of mine lives in Silvercreek and he said the same thing - no water on his street at all.

Shadow Creek Ranch in Pearland. As of this afternoon I don't think anyone had water in their homes but we've seen more rise tonight. On the far West side, near Almeda, our streets are flooded but house still dry. It would take another good foot of rise to approach front doors on my street, I think. 6+ inches at least. We're not seeing any fall but despite rain ALL day, the rise has been incredibly slow. The water is shedding somewhere but I think we're effectively getting sheet draining downhill rather than feeding into the lakes and the creek and this point.

Live in Lakes of CountryPlace just east of 288. Live on the course and Clear Creek is at my back fence line. Still think its going to take the creek to rise another couple of feet for it to get into my house but starting to get worried for sure. Minor street flooding in the streets but main concern is the creek.

I hope this is not true. But if there really are looters out in this situation, may they be shot, drowned or both.

Thanks man. I think we're going to retreat in the barn when the time comes but I've got your email - really appreciate it.

I think you said your parents are in here right? Any word on how their house is?
