I saw that. But now drivetexas is starting show a few flooded spots before 1960 and I'm wondering if that's only on the Feeder road. And wondering if I can get there from city center by beltway 8

My aunt and uncle live near Fosters Mill Estates on Timber Shade Dr. Homes on the south side of the street started taking on water last night. As of an hour ago, water was up to their doorstep. They have lost cell service, but took shelter at a neighbor's further from the lake.

What cross street on Timber Shade?

Is it just puddling up or is it spilling onto the highway from the flooded Feeder roads?

Hi all - rescue folks showed up at my parents about an hour ago and now they are at Creekwood Middle School. House has about 3 feet of water. My dad said the current was very strong outside the house. If they had gone out themselves in that they might have drowned.

Rescue teams said they aren't coming back in that area due to current. Crazy.

Thanks for all your help! Power of TexAgs. Might have saved my parents.

My dad lives in the Enclave they had about 3' in the house and garage. We rescued by boat around 0600. Currently at Creekside and then LSC. Said water came up very quickly after about 11. That whole area is flooded.

Has anyone seen any video of the new Costco by Target on 59? Curious how they did after raising that building pad up so much.

I'm curious about this, as well. I'm in North Dakota but dad lives in Kingwood. We have been wondering about that Costco during all of this. They did so much to build it up to prevent these floods but curious to see how it's holding up.

I was told they had 2 feet of water in it 2 days ago. If true it has to be more now.

FYI. We decided to leave after seeing the San jac river graph just keep jumping. The predicted crest rose another foot this morning.

59 to 1314 to 336 is clear sailing. We made it to Conroe in less than 30 mins (from the front of kingwood)

I wondered if that was the case... I saw an aerial shot on CNN that looked like the Costco, but I couldn't tell for sure without the familiar landmarks.

My parents just sent me a photo of Royal shores entrance. I can't post photos, but there's a truck in the picture that's nearly completely covered for perspective.

Last I heard 99 was underwater at the San Jacinto river. I'm guessing that it is also underwater at 2920.

So it might be possible to go:

6 to 105 to 336 to 1314 to 59?

Or is 105 closed at any point near Lake Conroe?

We didn't go on 105 but I think Conroe is good. Other than that I think you are good.

If you are worried you could also go to Madisonville and then down to Conroe.

My inlaws made it from Kings Point to a retirement home on 69 this morning. Considering what Kingwood Drive looks like I would assume that is the only route available?

Unless MillsBranch/Ford Rd back in Porter is driveable. I'll try to confirm and get back.

I know North Park is clear from Woodland Hills back to Mills Branch Road. Not sure about 59 to Woodlands Hills. However, it looked like a lot of vehicles were coming from 59.
