I think that is a collapsed culvert. They have been replacing a lot of them on that stretch of the bayou the last year. Not saying it isnt a sinkhole, but I know of several of those large culverts have collapsed recently.

I drove through GO at about 11 this morning. Only standing water I saw was on Alba by the railroad tracks (near LHN). Everything west of Alba looked okay, and all the roads were passable.MAS444 said:

Weird afternoon. Sun came out and took the dog for a walk. Lots of people out and ran into friends. Seemingly normal afternoon beyond the constant helicopters and milt. aircraft overhead. At the same time twenty minutes west and my friends are loseing their homes.
