Is anyone able to check out a house Inc Port A for me?
I'm stuck in Galveston until these waters recede and it would be amazing to get a close up video of the house...
On the flip side, I will be down there as soon as possible so if anyone needs anything checked out let me know - it could be a few days though.

Starting tomorrow only residents 18+ with Port A drivers license will be allowed in for a 6hr window. Come in from 361 only, no kids no adults without Port A license.

Of course the wife and I left town, and didn't come back early enough to beat the floods. Our house is on Barker Cypress about 2miles south of 290. I know the feeder for the Barker exit coming inbound on 290 is underwater so I heard, any other routes that may get us home?
I live at the Heights apartments directly south of A***** Dam Rd on Park Row Drive. Trying to figure out how much this release will effect us.
As an fyi almost all hebs closed at 3 today for partner safety and we are trying to open at 9a tomorrow to prevent anyone driving in the dark. We are only asking partners that can get there with 100% safety so we may be shortstaffed and we are receiving no trucks so we may not have everything. This message is for those of you who can get to and still may need supplies.

As close as you are to the release point, you may not see much of a difference. Further down where more water gathers from other sources will see more impact.
i suspect that channel there at the release point is going to stay contained.

Basically upstream rain on it's way is causing the flooding to the homes to the west. Therefore they are releasing downstream to Buffalo Bayou.

Can confirm I am that guy who lives on the cul-de-sac of Rhinebeck. And even as of now have a dry house. 2 of my neighbors, however, did get a small amount of water into low lying areas of their homes. The only way for me to know specifically about your sisters home is if you gave me the address and I go check it out from the exterior.

Right, was just saying the dam wasn't built to keep Cinco dry, just so happened growth happened in what used to retain water to keep from flooding Houston.
