It's pouring in kingwood right now. Not sure you could get up 59 south of downtown. I saw pics from 59 at will Clayton and water was high but not on freeway.

The word per every law and disaster management group is that unless you have to move to avoid drowning, stay put.

Unless you have a hovercraft or airboat, you won't be taking 288 for a while. Earlier it looked like a river all the way up to the beltway 8 overpass.

Kprc was just on location at Jones and Cypresswood. There was water up to garage door windows on some of those homes.

Wow, sounds like someone in HISD needs to look for a new job. I'd tell them to call the cops if I were him.

If it isn't staffed for an emergency shelter they won't open due to they would have to break in to get in and the school"s liability if anything happened after they gave permission to enter.
Contact the non emergency numbers and they'll eventually send large trucks to get you. They're not in danger at the moment so they won't (and shouldn't) be a priority.

Evacuation buses for Brazoria County. They'll be brought to Bell County. Many prayers for travel there and back.

If HISD threatened to arrest them I'd tell them to have the police send the patty wagon to get them all out.

I have somebody with two large dogs that needs a way out of Westbury. She is on dry land for now, but knows more rain is coming.
My company just emailed and said we are working tomorrow. If its unsafe then dont come, it you can make it then come. I'm gonna tell them to go eff themselves.
