I have family in waterside estates in Richmond (I think this is close to Long Meadow Farms). I'd be interested in any status that could be provided as we are in Arizona and feel pretty helpless.
Cypress Creek is within 6 inches of Allison's peak. For this data point, it depends on how many more bands we have to go through.
I have friends in LMF and while the lakes have risen they seem to be in good shape in the neighborhood

Maybe not all bad. I've got a daughter there. She told me about 4:45 this morning that water was within about 10 feet of her house.
But it never got in and has since receded.

My street isn't even flooded off of telephone. Brother's house is fine but he did say that his street flooded last night. I haven't seen any flooding from any .of the neighborhood friends that posted on Facebook.
My family and friends in the league City area and work colleagues in Meyerland are in pretty bad situations. Sucks knowing there is not anything you can do to help until the water starts receding.

I questioned the 50+" troll earlier in the thread. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't.
Even though it was a troll, it's unreal how close this may come to that, or maybe even surpass by the time it is all said and done.

I'm not that familiar with the area. She's in a newer subdivision so maybe that made a difference. Sorry to hear your news.

How is it a troll when there were several professionals warning it was possible? Some people just wanted to call BS because several of the last "potential disasters" didn't play out.

Anything you should do with electricity as water enters home ? Should you flip the main or will gfci take care of it...
Flip the main.
Flip the main IF you can get to it before water reaches any of the electric. Do NOT flip the main if you have to stand in water to do so.

I think that was me that posted that. I really REALLY wish I wasn't right.
clw04 - We have friends that also live in Waterview Estates in Richmond. So far they are good and no power loss. The spillway behind Waterview Estates is rising but everyone is safe and no flooding in homes. My wife and I also live in AZ and feel super helpless.

Good to hear. I know the lake is rising (they are on the lake) and got a little worried when I saw that Oyster Creek was rising as well.

The particular letter that I called out was confirmed to be a hoax a couple of hours later.
