I'm at Hillcroft/Cheena, which is 5 blocks South of your grandparents and 10 blocks South of Brays Bayou. We have street flooding and water covering the sidewalks, but nothing in the house at this time. We've contacted a few people that are closer to the bayou and most of them have at least a couple inches of water in their house. Someone who was posting on this thread last night lived on Hillcroft/Rutherglenn, but I haven't seen anything from him recently.

We are getting a break from the rain and water is definitely receding in the front yard. I'm really happy to see that the water is still draining, but wonder how long that will last. I'm surprised it has anywhere to go.

We are in copperfield and that is my concern too. As the water stacks up in town the ditches and creeks will have nowhere to drain.

Anyone in the Boulevard Oaks area know if water is coming into houses? Specifically Banks St between Dunlavy and Vassar?

My parents live on lake indigo, water has reached a new record high in their yard.... it is a few inches below their back concrete patio. 4 more inches is all it will take to reach door threshold. This is already about 10' higher than normal lake levels. I'm really afraid this is going to be the one that gets into house, considering its current level and 3-4 more days of this.

They are bunkered in the studio apt above the garage. Can only watch and wait.

My Mom used to work there until just before Alison. They have always flooded during every storm. It's amazing they have never moved locations after all the floods over the years. It has to be the most updated station in town with the number of times they flood

This is yeasterday at 4pm. That morning, water was still normal at 2' below bulkhead.
Now it's at the feet of my mom where she was standing when she took this pic. It's a hill in the foreground about 4-5' high.

Twice previously, water made it to bottom of hill, which is about the same level as the top of that picnic table. (It has been underwater twice)
Makes their entire backyard an extension of the lake.
