Looks like this band dropped 2-3 inches in Katy. Has it slacked off yet out there?
I live in Bridgeland (cypress). Got the tornado warning and looked out the back window and saw it get dark and the winds were whipping through. Got the family into the master closet. Came out 20 minutes later and had a 35' -40' maple tree uprooted in my front yard. It was leaning toward my neighbors, and was in danger of falling. Several neighbors showed up, including one with a chainsaw. Took the tree down and cut it into nice pieces for the heavy trash pickup.

~3" off of Pin Oak. The band has moved off us for now.
It can not rain much here but with the amount of rain upstream of these watersheds just a little bit here could cause major problems. All that water comes here.

Lots of thunder in Spring Branch. Heavy rain.
The rain gage at Buffalo Bayou and Greenbusch (Katy) has totaled 9 inch for 24 hours. All that will flow to Barker Reservior and held until the gates can be opened, which will not happen until the drainage basin east of the dam has not seen and will not see more than 1/4" of rain over a set time period

Impressive lightning display West of downtown.

Cypress ( 290 & barker) and looks like its just picking back up now. So far it seems like the rotation has the bands coming up Hwy 6 and then hooking left towards Fairfield

Top is at 117.50, it reached 102 during Tax Day floods.
SH6 low point in reservoir is around 96'

Raining And thunder, can't see lightning. Showing us halfway through the initial large yellow/orange band. Thought it would be worse as well.
Watching the undercard before the McGregor fight, want to crack the booze, but might need my head on straight.
