I've been really busy at work lately and haven't paid much attention since they swept the Redbirds in that two game series.

I get on Astros.com this morning and see that they not only lost the Colorado series, but got swept. They've lost their last 5 games.

Who's been keeping up and what the hell has been going on?

well not so much run supposrt as in they cant score in the final innings

add some terrible defensive play from just about everyone but everett (who will win the gold glove this year), no clutch hitting, and the ability of our bullpen to make close games not so close, and we're sinking fast.

dont forget that oswalt and pettitte have been **** the last two days, potentially the worst 2 games they have ever pitched or at least have pitched in a long time. it's hard for an offense to keep up with that...

Its hard to argue that Lidge has been the problem in the last 5 games when he has only thrown in one of them. Its a 5 game slump, big deal. That is why they play through September so things like this even themselves out. They come home this weekend and I suspect everything will start to turn around. Also with T.B. going tonight things are looking up for the good guys.
