I read the post where it said he resigned due to a locker room fight? Does anyone know what happened? His name is Travis Walden and he was the volunteer assistant here at A&M for one year. I think it was 2002.

i was looking at the Mizzou board and read this:

"Rumor is, he got into a physical fight with Tech SS Cameron Blair in the locker room and there was choking, punching, etc."

but, like it says...that's just the rumor.

I wonder how many rumors could start up from this board.

"It was a very poor decision on my part, and I truly regret both what I said and did," Pelfrey said. "I am sincerely sorry."
• Texas Tech assistant Travis Walden resigned to pursue other interests after two seasons as the pitching coach. Coach Larry Hayes said volunteer assistant Brandon Roberson will oversee the pitching staff for the rest of the year. Texas Tech will seek a permanent replacement following the season.

That would be interesting. Blair is a hothead, or at least he was in AK this summer. Also, he had be run off from the UH and Vernon programs.

It would be the second coach in a month to get in a physical fight with a player. The Howard Payne head coach was fired after getting in an altercation with his starting pitcher at UMHB earlier this month.

Yes, it's true.

Latest rumor from a Horn is that it all sorta stemmed from Walden disciplining Blair over sneaking out and getting drunk after the 25-0 loss Fridaynight.

This couldn't come at a worse time. I hate everything that is Oklahoma State baseball, and I wanted Tceh to whip their asses.
