The sad thing about the 11 engine train is that at the same time Parker hits a triple that most people did not see because they were counting train engines.

Then there was the girl sitting behind me who was glad she was at the game long enought to see the 11 engine train and how special it was and how special it would have been if someone from the class of 2011 would have seen it. Then she left.

Have a Hooteriffic Day!!

I think your obsession with getting drunk at sporting events is rather childish. Much morseo than counting trains (which isn't something I do personally, either).

Like it or not people aggie, all the lil' traditions at Olsen (trains, get in the box, pick it up, etc) DO make Olsen what it is. For the die hards who care about nothing more than the baseball, have fun. However many people like baseball but are looking more for a general all around good time. These lil' things provide that. Quit your *****ing...

I may be mistaken but we had 12 earlier this year right.

another note on the longevity of the railroad tracks...I don't think the city of Bryan would be spending 3 years and millions of dollars on the Villa Maria overpass of the tracks, if they were going to be moved anytime soon.

You have to love our tradition of disputing our traditions.

The train doesn't make Olsen... The crowd makes Olsen... the constant chanting of the pitchers name, aggie alley hecklers, raggies, the "ow" chant when a batter gets hit... those are the things that make Olsen such a top notch atmosphere.

twk... I don't have an obsession for getting drunk before sporting events (sometimes I do)... I do enjoy tailgating (grilling and throwing back a few brews) before games.... any american should enjoy that.
