Chan Ho at spring training this year has apparently been getting worse every pitch he throws. You know a team has problems when their ace is 40+. The Rangers are hoping for a miracle in their AA, AAA clubs to fill a starting spot. The bullpen is, in my opinion, one of the top 5 in MLB.

At least we have a capable bullpen. In years past, we have had a horrible pitching staff as a whole.

Drese, Young, and Rodriguez will be good starters. Rogers, Park, and Astacio are, well, typical Rangers starters.

I am hoping we can get more miracle seasons from the vets like Rogers and Astacio!

Park had his second conseuctive solid outing this weekend. RicRod also pitched a hell of a game today.

I think we're going to get more help from Young/Park/RicRod than we did last year, but I expect Rogers and Drese's performance to drop off pretty drastically.

The biggest issue right now, the one I keep wanting to say "I told you so." to Rangers' management, is Soriano.

He's still nursing a HAMSTRING injury, not hitting worth a flip and his fielding has looked even worse (if that was possible). His trade value before the season has all but completely diminished, and the non-move of trading him for Kazmir 6 months ago looks to be a huge mistake.

Yeah, Sori has been dogging it so far in camp, I had MUCH higher expectations for the guy than what we have gotten, but atleast we got rid of A-Rod thanks to him in part! Pitching wise, I could see Kenny dropping off, Ryan will be ok I think if he can still keep his pitches down, Chan Ho will be Chan Ho, though we won't notice it to begin the season, as his first start will probably come at Seattle where he has a sub 1 era (Hey Seattle, want him??!!!!), holding out hope that Astacio may beable to pull off a decent season (10 wins and an ERA around 4 are decent around here!!!), and either Young or Ramirez rounding out the order, with one or the other taking Chan Ho's place eventually....Scary if you are in the stands, but who wouldv'e thought this staff could pull it off last year either!

Ricardo Rodriguez is looking very good this spring. Had another 5 scoreless innings the other night.

What about Juan Dominguez he looked real good 2 seasons ago. Plus we have Adrian Gonzalas maybe shop him around for a solid # 2 guy or a # 3 and bullpen arms.
