proudaggie02- I just want to make a few points and then I am done with this topic. First, you took a shot at Cub fans mowing your lawn so I jokingly responded with the trailer park comment. Second, I could care less how much you're worth. It sounds like you are so concerned with money that you lead a shallow existence. If that's true, I feel sorry for you. If not, I'm sorry you project that image. Third, congrats on being a Texan. I was born and raised in the Chicago area, but graduated from A&M and now live in Texas. I will forever remain loyal to my Chicago teams. If you don't like my posts about the Cubs, don't read them. I believe the title of this thread was "For Cubs fans only". If you can't figure out that it will contain posts supporting the Cubs from that, you have some serious issues. Comparing me to tech fans on an A&M board is ridiculous. This is an Aggie board and I am an Aggie. This is not an Astros board. I love talking smack, but only if it is done in good fun. There are many Cubs and Astros fans on this board who understand that and we have a blast during baseball season. Maybe someday you can join in on the fun.

I am also a Chicago native, transplanted to Texas. Used to love watching the Cubbies on WGN after school. Now, those great images of yesteryear have been replaced with vivid images of Bartman and that stupid ball....we may never break our curse!

it's all good and i will leave this topic alone after this. my "rebuttal" to your points:
1.) i deserved something with my comment about yard workers; however, i referred to Cubs' fans in general (you personalized it moreso with direct expression toward me).
2.) my comment about worth was basically a "Screw you" response to you referring to a fellow Aggie as trailer trash. i'm far from shallow; you project the image of a jack@ss to me, as i project the whole "money hungry" image to you.
3.) if i went to college at Illinois, i would expect to annoy people if i went to their site and went out of my way to talk smack about the Cubs. as for the "Cubs only", i think its classless to even post such a topic. once again, it would have a similar nature (though not as extreme) as going to HornsFans and posting an "Aggies only" thread. people will likely read it.
that said, i can agree to disagree with you. i respect your support for the Cubs, i just think it's over the top at times. i know you take exception to things about me. here is to some light-hearted smack talk in the future.
