You're welcome. I hope you had fun at the game yesterday at Wrigley Field and that you enjoyed the morning tour of the stadium and its environs. Any game at Wrigley is fun and the Crosstown Classic surely made your first visit even more special, especially since Braden Montgomery is playing for the Sox, I have more interest these days in watching the White Sox to see how Braden is doing on the diamond.
I am glad you got to eat at Giordano's and got to compare the deep-dish pizza with tavern-style pizza. I have always enjoyed the restaurant and its variety of Italian food. I like Lou Malnati's, but I prefer Giordano's.
I am also happy that you enjoyed Honey Berry for breakfast. Thanks for the suggestions regarding Paris Baguette Bakery Cafe and Legal Seafood. I keep a journal of all of the nice restaurants in Chicago and Chicagoland, so will add these to my list for future dining. I use my dining journal to help me host friends, Texas A&M University, and Texas A&M Foundation officials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner around the Windy City.
I was hoping you would get to see Millenium Park, including the Bean, and Grant Park, including Buckingham Fountain. I love the views in these parks of both the lake and the city skyline. There is quite a bit of historic and beautiful architecture to enjoy throughout the city. The Chicago Architecture Center on East Wacker Drive near the intersection with North Michigan Avenue has a treasure trove of information on Chicago's architecture and provides tours around the city and in the suburbs of historic buildings and architects. The CAC is responsible for one of the most popular Chicago River architecture tours.
