Howdy, flame me if you must, I DO NOT follow tu sports of any kind. Watching and rooting for the Dawgs, but wondering where they got the tu kid with 22 wins from. (Gimme a break, I am an OLD!)

Do you mean the man child 6'6" freshman? Not sure how NC let the home state kid get away. I would love it if the 2 freshman P they have got poached.

Crossland is from Phoenix. It's no wonder ASU is lagging with the players that go east. We got Kellner from Hamilton HS last year and Harwood from Casteel HS this year. Both top 3 instate players as seniors.

Not that it matters but regarding the "man child" is he 18-19 like most Fr should be or is he an athlete that was started late to always have an edge against his peers

He's almost 20 so he was certainly held back or reclassed at some point. I believe he will be draft eligible next year.

After looking at Cozart's Bio, his dad played baseball at UCF and was HC at High Point.
1 brother played at UNC and other brother played at NC State now with Guardians.
I guess dad advised him that Devilhorns and Satan would be a good route.

ps. Mom played volleyball at UCF

He was committed to us when POS was here, so it was likely a Schlossweiner situation

Probably intentionally started late
School districts don't like parents getting 14 years of schooling but if you choose to start the kid a year late doesn't bother the districts

Tons of kids reclass in the 8th grade. There are select organizations that even promote doing so these days.
