Aside from the asinine inclusion of the sips in this stat, Kentucky finishing 13-17 means they only won 3 SEC series this year…and they're supposedly on the bubble?? Idc how tough the SEC is, you don't deserve to get into the tournament if you only win 3 conference series out of 10.

Nothing can be done about it but when you only play 2/3 of the teams it is possible to have some conference records that are misleading
I am not sure if Kentucky falls into that category but some teams having a more / less favorable schedule is a problem when trying to evaluate based on conference records alone

I'm sure they've justified it with the fact that we didn't play game three so therefore they would've won that one.

Kentucky had about as good a schedule as possible having played Mizzou, USCe and LSU. They lost all three, by the way. Their biggest selling point is a sweep of Bama and winning 2/3 against Tennessee. And they got lucky in non conference The Citadel being decent and Kentucky swept them.

It was stated during the Kentucky game. It was pumping Kentucky as "should be in the regionals" but they just can't help but throw bull**** out trying to make sip into something they are not

That's complete BS. Teams that played a weak axx schedule should not be rewarded. UK is a top 64 team.
