What is the reason for the big change in softball crowds the last 2 seasons between the regular season and post season?

In the regular season in March and April, the stands are packed and the re-sell market has tickets selling for $200 sometimes. The last 2 years, regional tickets are very easy to get and GA doesn't sell out. You can get great tickets today for $10.

I'm missing something. It can be hotter, but I can't imagine that is all of it.

I have heard about alot of weekend, out of town tournaments for kids too.?

It has never seemed to me that Aggie students are a big part of our softball crowds. I think it is more families with kids.

Are out of town kids and their families in BCS for youth tournaments a big part of our crowds or is it that BCS families and their kids were at out of town youth tournaments this time of year?

Graduation week and out of town trips to such impacted our attendance.
