Putting in some backups with a 16 run lead I guess. Personally I'd rather have seen Farr come out than Chestnut. Farr developing into a starting caliber player by end of year would be good for us next year. I'd use Chestnut more as a PR player for now.

Playing Chestnut over Farr as a backup does nothing for this year. If you were talking about starting Chestnut might be the better choice but we aren't.

This. I don't think he should have come out at all but if he does… at least have the pen ready. Even on games you dominate, Earley shows you massive red flags
