Heckling is simply spectators helping to develop the visiting team's mental game for the next level of baseball. As a result, hecklers are doing them a favor! By telling them that they suck, you are encouraging them to actually suck less the next time.

Radical idea for when the horns come to town:

We all know Jim Stalinagle is a grade a narcissist…and narcissists thrive off of attention even if it's negative as they see it as validating.

What if we just…didn't say anything? He goes in expecting the worst and gets…nothing? I think that would rattle him more than any heckling.

Yeah, he thrives on any energy but he cannot handle criticism. At all. It's gets him all hot. And I'm gonna make sure he steams

Fair enough. I do think the normal heckles will just motivate him though. We need to think deeper.

I like the of harping on failures. Maybe we need a couple volunteers to sit right behind the dugout and loudly discuss the play by play of every postseason loss in his career…really drive home any questionable coaching decisions.

If someone can get me tickets down there, I'll read the transcripts of every interview he's had to do after a loss

He was bothered when people didn't want the dancers or some of his other changes.

Since I seem to have created a boost in this thread with my comment 2 (?) days ago…

My comment about "It's all your fault" and being family friendly came down to the fact that there are a lot of kids playing bat and ball sports who watch Aggie sports. Do we want to teach them that those words are proper sportsmanship? On a juvenile level, that would be considered bullying. On a college level, it's considered toughening.

I have attended a few games this season with the old Ag who pays for the seat I sit in. The response to the "all your fault" chant originated from a Class of '86 Ag who said it was embarrasing. I didn't disagree, but since it came from someone who gives a lot more to A&M than I could ever think about, I felt the need to share.

And as another aside, I will not attend when the sips are in town. I was at the very first match after the rivalry was renewed in conference: volleyball. The crowd was electric! But my heart couldn't handle it. I have the ESPN subscription and will watch all of the tu games from home that I can.

As someone who isn't a season ticket holder, watching from home is the only way I can afford to watch most of the games, if I had any desire to.

I still think for that whole weekend, on the video board, every Rifleman needs to have POS's little two second "write that!" video clip tacked onto the end of it

And I would put Richard Zane in the booth as PA announcer

It's on the parents to teach them the difference. When I was probably like 10 years old I got a ball five chant going in my LL dugout…my dad yanked me out of there very quickly to remind me that I was not at Olsen.

I am Class of '77. Played and been around sports over 60 years of my 70 years on this earth. I disagree that "it's all your fault" is embarrassing, bullying, or whatever else. I also am privileged to know a lot of present and former Aggie (and other college team) players. None of them would be offended or whatever by whatever 203 says. In fact, they would be ticked somebody thought it was out of line. Part of the game they love.

They and I would agree that "so and so sucks" is lame. Not because of vulgarity. But because of lack of creativity. And it seems 203 has corrected that on its own. I really dislike the Aggie "crowd police" unless there are genuine problems.

So you and your '86 Ag bud are entitled to your opinion. And I am entitled to mine.

I think someone needs to spring for tickets for trouble and I to heckle Schloss. I may or may not have gotten him to turn red last year in Austin when I asked him something rather personal. The sip fans were mortified by what I said.

And someone needs to help us procure a couple of those bobbleheads they gave away in Austin last week.

We could decorate them with day of the dead makeup and chant, "BRUJA BRUJA BRUJA"

Our son (a regular with the core 203 group) said that the sips were acting like frat guys that lost a bet or something like that. Like somebody made them sit in 203 in sip gear.

Well I know of two tickets that were pretty cheap, as I gave them to a friend and son for Saturday's game.

That weekend is Parents/Family Weekend, it's Chilifest I think, a big batch of students (like my oldest!) get their Aggie Ring that week as well. So you have families in town, Aggies celebrating their ring and the sips in town for dou-chenozzle's return to Olsen. That's a lot of people in town that would be looking for a fun outing...
