Was nice to see the ladies back in Aggieland. Super impressed by AK's catch in right and KK's grab to end the game. Hope that sets a trend of high calibur defense to come. And Mya absolutely tattooed that ball over the camera well in center! Whoa!

Great bounce back game all around!

Looking at my book, some pitching highlights that really stood out:

-Syd only allowed 4 baserunners across 7 IP, she left 3 of them stranded

-Syd retired 14 straight batters to close out the game (4.2 IP)

-Out of her 7 IP, 5 were perfect innings

-Only 2 free passes (1 BB, 1 HBP) out of her 25 batters faced

-8 K's (obvious one)

-She threw 108 pitches, which equates to 4.32 per batter (you are aiming to stay under 5). Also considering there were at least two double digit pitch at-bats, she really was efficient overall!

Excited for more softball at Davis this weekend!
