Travis has been playing well. Him and Kiel provide some pop on the bases.

The only problem with Chestnut is that he can't hit.

He's a career .260ish hitter, but he manages to be timely when he gets on. Not to mention he is hitting the ball really well this season so far so maybe this will be a statistical big year for him

Edit: And disagree that a .260 hitter should be labeled as someone 'who can't hit'.

I want to see these two guys race.....along the outfield wall from left field foul line to right field foul line.

In this hypothetical, I think Travis jumps out to an early lead but TK overtakes somewhere between the first power alley and center and finishes a couple steps ahead.

My kids and I were cracking up watching the warmups and Travis looked like he made sure to beat TK each time they ran next to each other

We have got to get Hacopian healthy, STAT. Chestnut ain't the answer in the lineup. He's so overmatched against non-Lamar teams.
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

Chestnut will have his days, but great pitching isn't for him. I'd rather a fish learn and work given the output against great pitching. If Jorian is the future, let him work. If he isn't, play Farr or Royo and figure something out.
