This was my answer

Just think it's funny they are making announcements of players that are staying that were never in the portal. I thought they did this last year bc of the coaching transition and all the guys that entered the portal.

But this year has been so bad and there's no positives so we have to make announcements of guys staying that never entered.

Honestly I think that's pretty usual with the transfer portal nowadays. It might not be as formal as an announcement, but many guys will make a post hinting at it.

Other schools don't do this. It's primarily an Aggie thing in our bad sports. Just goes to show how little we have to cheer for bc programs that are great don't do this.

It's like when you see someone you know on social media whose marriage is in the crapper. Yet, they post online how much they love each other.

All the players announcing they're staying. Thats great and all, but why should we be excited about having the exact same players and coaches that got swept by Mizzou? I guess some huge change is going to happen between this season and the next even though everything is the same. And no, the difference between us beating mizzou and losing wasn't a handful of injuries.

Just because we keep Gavin, TK and hopefully Sorrell doesn't mean this is going to be the same team as this year

They're probably doing that to keep the recruits. Let the recruits know.
