How much of a rebuild are we looking at for next year?

Two sides to that equation if you are talking about transfers.

If you are talking about no more eligibility or going in the draft.

Jace, Prager, Lamkin, Wyatt, I assume Kent, Kash, I'm sure there's more but that's off the top of my head.

Given the injuries to key players, it's not fair to hang the "worst" on this team.

But it's up there with the classic Aggie let downs, for me anyway.

Is Patton out of eligibility or do you think he's getting drafted?

Just discussing who's back.

All the relief pitchers. Sdao and Stewart.

I know they might leave if we get a new coach but for discussion today I am going to assume we make a great hire and they stay.

TK lead off, Gavin, Sorrell, Bear is not a bad top 4. New coach would add some talent.

Finding Starting pitching and shortstop will be key for next year.

If Patton comes back and Sdao is fully healthy that's a nice start on pitching.

Sdao even with his injury is high on some draft boards

I'd be shocked if Patton is back, this is his leverage year. No way you can count on Sdao coming off surgery. So on the pitching staff you go maybe 6 deep with Stewart, Moss, Wilson, Freshcorn, McCoy, Jackson (I think he may be draft eligible). A ton of needs here since you are likely losing all 3 weekend starters.

Even if Grahovac, TK and Sorrell stay, you need starters at 1B, 2B/SS depending on what you do with Royo and OF. And these need to be top level players not just role players. Also need another C to start or at least push Bear.

It's not out of the question he, Stewart and Jackson (I'm pretty sure he is age eligible) get drafted.

Stewart is a senior isn't he? He was recognized on Senior Day with his family.
Any chance Moss gets drafter?

This season we had to replace the entire infield (once Grahovac got hurt), catcher, two awesome relief pitchers, plus some bench depth.

We will pretty much have to do the same thing for next season plus center field.

According to Mike G. - they're all coming back

In NIL era those who redshirt do to injury/ as freshman might be well served to stay at whatever school can give them the NIL money but those who have no leverage likely need to go UNLESS NIL $$ is bigger than what they are offered and how much school is important and other criteria. If you want to get started on your career no need to stay take the money for MLB and go unless you don't expect to get much more. Seniors have no leverage but can make up for it by NIL as juniors and seniors if they want to go that route and are drafted past say the 10th round
