There are always going to be these corner cases in the field of 64. It's unsolvable, hence the constant pressure to expand to 68 or 72 or whatever.LatinAggie1997 said:
Ok, I simply can't justify a sub .500 team making it over a 5-10 teams with better resumes.
But you just admitted there was nothing on the line... Winning or losing that game meant nothing.swimmerbabe11 said:
I love conference tournaments and I don't want them to go away.
baseball with everything on the line is just so fun.
Like the TCU v Arizona game (which I am now convinced had no bearing on us hosting or not which is bullsh) ....even though we lost, every freakin second of that game was amazing.
Roons advocates for a 64 team field and I dont love it, but I get his point.

You mean stronger than Vols that just beat them who they easily could have paired together?
Fudge guys, I can handle some contrarian responses if you could back them up. But there's only one way you can counter this post of mine. The sips have to be paired with a SEC school in a SR.

Im sorry… NDSU went 20-32? You put them in the three seeds regional. They shouldn't even make it at all…

This is there schedule, in case you don't wanna click the link I will tell you…
#21 DBU: Swept
Lamar: Swept(2 games)
UTRGV: 1-1 (2 games)
#20 Alabama: swept
#2 LSU: got run ruled in both game(2)
Tulane:1-2
Oral Robert's: 2-1
Oklahoma State: lost
North Colorado?: 2-1
South Dakota state: 2-0

Midweek Creighton: won (3-2)
St.Thomas: 2-1
Midweek Minnesota: Loss
Oral Roberts: 1-2
Fargo Morehead?: lost?
St.Thomas: got swept

You take this over a team that beat…
#3 Arkansas in a series
#6 LSU in a series( then lost 4-4 in a sec tournament game)
#4 Auburn (SEC tournament)
#14 Tennessee in a series
Lost in the quarterfinals in the Sec tournament…
When you put it like that, it makes it sound like the commute was drunk or something…

Texas had series losses to Arkansas and Florida.
Arkansas had series losses to Georgia, *A&M*, Florida and LSU.
*A&M was not close to making the postseason. They lost at home.
Kentucky finished 12 spots higher than us in the RPI.BigAggFan23 said:
What about Kentucky? Lost in the first round to Ou (who also got picked)

I'm not going to spend time arguing every team that got in with you.
We didn't earn it. It sucks and it stings but it's truth.

They didn't provide a "next 4 out" just a first four out.BigAggFan23 said:
Did we make next for out like the projections had us?
I assume it helps with the paranoia to at least know who you were being compared to. That's about it.swimmerbabe11 said:
I've always thought it was dumb for the committee to announce first four out tbh,

Let me know when they are paired with a SEC team?
Only Once in several years and they lost. I just laugh at it now, just like laughing at your responses.

Kudos to the AD at SE Louisiana. He's the committee chair, but his team doesn't make the field (in the first four out). Little different from last year where Florida made the field with their AD as chair.
I know. Really. Is it supposed to make a team and a fanbase feel better that they rank highest on the list of teams that didn't make the cut? Please.swimmerbabe11 said:
