I think the OP has it right as a possibility and you know esipn is drooling over the potential drama and story lines,
and will tell the committee to put us as a 3 seed in the regional lined up with the sips for the Super.
Esipn can tell the committee to say we were selected based on our 12 SOS and 28 DSR!

If ESPN was making the choices we would be the 4 seed in Austin so we can play a couple more games at their place. Or a 3 seed at the TCU regional matched up with the Austin regional, which will be 3 or 4 while tcu is 14 or 13 national seed. I still doubt it because of the risk we win too

At the beginning of the season, when we were a unanimous #1 rating, had I told you 13 teams would make the tournament, what would your odds be that we were not one of them?

As it turns out, the NCAA regionals, super regionals, and College World Series will go off without a hitch and draw great TV ratings whether we are in it or not. The A&M vs. The World intrigue is only held by a handful of folks in and around College Station. The rest of the college baseball world couldn't possibly care less.

Agree with Luke. No one certainly cares enough to squeeze in a late bubble team for a SUPER REGIONAL matchup that likely will never happen anyway.

Agreed. Storyline gets play in Texas only. I put the odds at .1%. Bid-stealers have been working hard this weekend and that's terrible for the Ags.

Mizzou sucked and was worse than a juco jv team yet we got swept by them. We have no right to be invited.

We can't play in the sip regional, correct? If so this thread is pointless.

What percentage of sports fans in Texas even know tomorrow is selection Monday? Not many. This is a niche sport. We care but most people don't.

Exactly! After Mizzou pulled off the comeback game 1 of that series, i I thought for sure we would rebound and run rule them twice! The fact we sunk even lower and got swept at home is first hand evidence that there is a serious problem with a lack of leadership! Fire everyone!
