They can disagree to it this early. Once it's game time, the decision belongs to the umpires and the SEC.

My understanding is that if the SEC says we're playing, their choice is play or forfeit. Kinda like the mother's day game that POS didn't want to play a couple years ago.

The videos of players' parents helping to bail out the outfield were the best part of that day.
Meanwhile in the two double headers we've had so far (where we've been the visiting team), it has been announced the day before.

I think the main reason they said no right now is because what I mentioned earlier....LSU would much rather play at 10 pm tonight with a minuscule crowd than a packed double header in beautiful weather tomorrow.

Tennessee @ LSU last Friday didn't start until 9pm under the same circumstances. It has nothing to do with disrespect for Earley.
I believe it actually started at 9:50 last Friday

I'm watching the radar on both the weather channel app and the KBTX weather app and both of them kind of disperse right around or shortly after eight at least for a few hours. But who knows. It was supposed to start raining about one initially and it's still sunny right now.trouble said:
