This. We would have never even interviewed Earley but for the roster retention aspect, and Weiner is greener than Earley. Max seems to be a top pitching coach, but head coach might be a reach right now.

t.u. posted a video of him signing a ball for a kid and the kid asked "what position do you play?" LOL. Imagine having to answer "I'm not a player, I'm the head coach."

He's played around with the idea before, for sure. He flirted with them pretty deeply a few years before he ended up in CS.....

He will have some MLB opportunities for sure as he is very good.
