My point was that we seem to sometimes keep a starter in longer than we would under different circumstances because we don't have a ton of confidence in our pen (which is what I was directly responding to)
Aside from that- I'd venture that they could probably keep up with our current players pretty well...

This team needs a hard jolt. Anything short of firing Earley falls short.
I haven't been in favor of a mid season firing, but at this point I think it's warranted. I suspect the players are playing tight trying to save Earley's job. Go ahead and make the move now and maybe this season can be salvaged. If not, oh well, can't be worse.

This is the worst coachhing job I've seen in Aggieland since Watkins' 0-16 performance. I would expect these guys to be better at the plate with no coaching at all.
I mean if you want to save the slightest amount of face Earley has to fire his hitting coach before the end of the weekend.
gotta wonder why the players aren't just ignoring the hitting coach at this point
