There's lots of rumors. There's people who say there is proof. There's been no proof presented for anyone to see.
Some players definitely knew he was being shady. Others knew nothing until the day it happened.

This absolutely happened. There were player families talking about it in Omaha.
Why not? He took A&M to the world series last year and almost won it all. He created a top team and developed a lot of players... pretty solid selling points. It's all about the coaching. Add up their NIL, commitment to winning by hiring a top staff, not sure why anyone wanting to play in Texas would go somewhere else.
A&M's pitch: coaches here are like buddies / friends and everyone likes each other. We hired the popular coach with zero qualifications to lead. You got to chose if you want to play for a title and go to the MLB with development or going to a big name school and hang out with the cool players / coaches as your talents get wasted on the sidelines.

Fact: POS was recruiting sip players to stay and play for him this year while still coaching us in the regular season and into the regionals.
That being the case, he was assuredly recruiting some of our guys to Austin.

I always thought we should have gone scorched earth on the POS...reveal it all. But then again I am an ah.

If this is true we really do deserve the little brother moniker and we are not a serious fan base. Why do we think it's a moral high road to not expose the truth?
I think the real truth is there are other prominent peeps who get exposed in the whole pos thing who sent the orders to let it go.
