The problem with a lot of you guys is it's one game, and potentially a bad move. Tonight wasn't great. But let's wait and see the full body of work for Earley before making a final judgment. It's confirmation bias otherwise. And why a lot of you should t be running an athletic department.

One game? Was this the first game you've watched this season?

The pitching changes were not well executed. I don't know if that's on Kelly or Earley. I would have left Jackson in.
yes ma'am, but it makes me feel better in the moment.

I don't like how it ended but some of y'all are acting like we just got shut out and run ruled at home. Losing ****ing sucks but let's not act like we weren't in it the whole time.

If A&M is smart they fire him after this season and stop the bleeding. Unfortunately the culture at A&M is overly patient.

Beyond the 9th inning pitching substitution debacle, what was the rationale for the Bear Harrison substitution? I don't believe he even touched a ball during his at bats.
Pulled a player with a .263 average for one batting .091 with 1/4 the number of ABs on the season. I'm not sure why that would be the time for that call. Too focused on "match-up" decisions.

If we weren't 10-7 right now I'd agree with you. I'm losing faith by the week in him and I'd consider myself a sunshine pumper… especially with baseball.

I'm really hoping we turn it around, we just seem to find new ways to lose.

He'll win the series against Texas and get a 7 year guaranteed contract for $75,000,000.

Even if it was Kelly calling for changes I don't know how Earley is letting him make key defensive subs when the game is on the line. Earley should have enough experience as a hitting coach to know when a pitcher is cooking with gas and not giving a hitter anything.

Very similar to the sip offense last year. Nothing like the offense the Aggies fielded last season. Unfortunately, it looks like Longley has put his stamp on this offense.

Maybe, but the guy pushed every wrong button tonight.

And then a few more for good measure. Games like this will haunt you.

That was in the middle of an absolutely crazy inning and we had already gotten in the pitcher's head.
The yelling started after the lead off walk of Ali and steadily got louder as the inning went on. I think it's more effective than banging on the bleachers.

Earley is grasping for credibility. Playing "pitcher chess" was a path to looking like a bona fide manager, until Rudis gave up two moon shots to lose the game. He is learning the hard way.

This is not turning around this season. What an absolute waste of the best talent we've ever had on campus.

You seem to forget how banged up this team is. 3 of those "best talented" guys are out. 2 potentially for the year. This ISN'T and never was the #1 team in college baseball. That was a 100% healthy version of this team. This one has younger guys filling big holes and would have never been given that #1 ranking if it had been known. Im getting tired of this narrative that this team is a failure when they aren't actually, literally, the team we thought we would have. Losing the 2 bats and the arm we thought we would have is a massive deal. Think of it like losing half of your OL or more and maybe a few skills guys in football. This isn't that "#1 team". And that's not to mention Sdao. People, this is a different team. Get used to that now. Sure, if Earley or Kelly deserve to be criticized tonight for a poor coaching decision, fine! Hopefully they learn from it and go on. This team can win the next 2.

I'm sorry for ranting, but damn, after watching "us" from the dugout lose it in 1989 and every "almost" win, in every sport since, I'm just jaded and ****ing tired of losing.

It just seems like we might need to kill a couple chickens or something.

We were ranked #1 in the country. The best baseball team in America.

And we are quite obviously on a path to completely whiff on making the post season at all...

And you want to see a full body of work to judge this team?

If anyone needs their heads adjusted, it's you. Especially if you witnessed what happened tonight.

We could have won this game, but our HC did his best to prevent that from happening with his completely ******ed management of our pitching staff.

No, A&M has made an effort to lose to t.u. in everything this past year. I think our new AD should be fired, what a waste he's been.

Yep. Coach is going to catch hell.

I'm interested to see what will happen after this.

If Earley can learn quickly and adjust, there's still hope.

It's the wind, it's the we were close, it's the unfortunate mistakes, it's the "but the injuries", it's the if we didnt pull him/them, it's all the excuses of why things just are not happening the way they should that illustrates there's a big problem and it isn't getting better. Sorry yall but this hasn't been a good season and does not look to be improving either so let's be real about things here and admit it should not be like this

At the end of the season our media will just say it was the unluckiest season because of injuries and exit velos.
