with the exception of the 3 starting pitchers… everything about the baseball team is really bad… but the defense is what surprises me the most.. no words for how awful the defense has been.

zaf… i too think things will get better for conference play… hopefully we're seeing now (pitcher wise) who we can use for the 3-game weekends.. we won't need all these pitchers for 3-game weekends. If players like Cunningham get pitching time come Alabama, then we haven't learned anything… we need 4-5 relief pitchers for Alabama… i think we can find that.

Personally I think you have recency bias. The defense has been bad but the offense has been horrific against mediocre pitching.

The defense can be improved substantially by moving Kash to 1B. The offense seems completely broken.

this coming weekend vs NM State will say A LOT… we "should" have some pitching figured out (i know i do)… we need to look much better this weekend and play it like it's an SEC weekend
