Rough week for the Owls. Lost a back and forth contest to Zona on Wednesday. They swing the bats fairly well but pitching is very, very shaky. I think they are better than last year's Owls but I don't know if their record will show it.

Great win tonight! Glad I was at a meeting for most of the night so I didn't add to the negativity the first few innings.

I am glad we snapped a 4-game losing streak with double digit win over Rice to improve to 5-4. Hopefully, we win our next 6 games against UTSA, Texas Southern, New Mexico State (3-game series), and Parie View A&M before we start conference play with a home series against Alabama on 3/14.
