Tonight is the most important game through this point in the young season. Win, and you set yourself up to go 2-1 on the weekend vs Rice tomorrow and build some positive momentum in the mid-week. Another L would really start to dig a big hole with respect to our record and momentum heading into SEC play.

FWIW Vegas has us -160 (~60%) to win tonight

They have about 3 innings left so probably 7:30 again. My wife said she would be ready to head over to a HH at 5:15 so we should make it by game time.

I would have said the same thing about Targac last year, and Bost in '23. The lineup shuffle needs to happen. It was broke-it needed to be fixed.

Its different in the Targac situation. The rest of the team was raking and he was the singular black hole. This is taking out a good chunk of a lineup that is already down 2 of it's 3 best hitters

Situations aren't really comparable at all

I don't get why Binderup is still batting 4th. That makes no sense to me whatsoever. If you want him in the lineup, which I don't, he should be in the 7 or 8 spot. I would pitch around Wyatt every time in order to face Binderup.

You'd have to pitch around Wyatt and Jace.

I'm not sure where to put him but he seems to be what we're sticking with at first for now so he has to bat somewhere.

He's had several near misses going yard so I can see why Earley still wants him in.

They said he was mashing in practice in the off-season, but it does not seem to be transferring to GameDay.
