We tried. Bases loaded no outs. Then our mighty .227 hitters came up and he struck out 3 in a row.
Three runs now in the last 17 innings. And all of those on homers. Our team is lost.

It's baseball, and a lot of it is between the ears -- mental strength, dealing with pressure, confidence and just having fun. We don't look like a super confident team at the plate; hitting is fun and not hitting sucks.gigem1223 said:

We are just so lost at the plate right now. We're swinging at bad pitches, not swinging at good pitches, and really not being competitive like we used to (foul off a few pitches if they are close but not hittable). Obviously everyone is seeing that too but I'm really shocked that it doesn't seem like it's being addressed.
