Sometimes being an Aggie fan is tough. I just want to live up to the hype more than once a century. I'd also like to not be surprised by it. Getting whipped by a marginal tx state team while ranked #1 after a disappointing weekend series is not my idea of fun.
I've been here a long time. Not as long as you, but been rooting for the ags through thick and thin for 40 years now.
But, today, this week, I dont need another Aggie disappointment. Maybe next week my outlook on life will be different. But not today.

We're not seeing it very well, and if we're just going to watch the first one right down main street then it leads to more guessing. I know it's our approach, but right now I'd be saying "you're an SEC player, go hit the ball hard and see what happens".

So you don't think that this team will turn it around and be very good? No, they aren't playing good now, but, again, baseball is a LOOONG season. There are times every team struggles. Again, this doesn't mean we won't be good. We've got the talent.
When every single pitcher has control issues, you might want to start questioning the pitching coach.
Childress team would have NEVER walked this many people. This team will not be elite unless the free passes stop. People Underestimate how Childress truly developed the pitchers.

Lengthy criminal record. Major past addiction issues. So no idea why you think I'm holy in any way.
I think our start to this baseball season is concerning. We don't seem to have any energy. But that won't keep me from being an Aggie fan.
This is a hobby. No matter what happens in this game, it won't impact my outlook on life. I did suck to watch us lose in Omaha, but losing to CP and Texas State in February just isn't a huge deal to me.
This team feels very 2023.
