Ok, I may have to break down today. Are most of our early season games SECN+? Are there "packages" on YouTube TV or is it just one option? Don't want to try the wrong thing and not get A&M since that's the only thing in trying to access. ...or is there a better option than YT?
I watched a ton of games throughout the season last year on SECN+
As long as you get access to ESPN on a cable package. This is free to stream on the ESPN app.
You DO NOT need ESPN+ in order to watch SECN+
(A lot of people get that confused)

Fubo, DirectTV Stream, Dish Orange, Hulu Live Tv (which is merging with Fubo), YTTV. YTTV has very good DVR with unlimited storage (they store it once for all customers and feed back the stream to any that asked for it to be stored.) All of them will converge on cable pricing since the content is itself the purpose of the service. But some are cheaper now. Watch out for holes like YTTV and Paramount just reached a new deal but paramount channels including CBS were off for a bit. Almost every service has channels they don't carry.
I tried YTTV but then the Dallas Mavericks put their home games in a local channel that isn't carried by any streaming service. So I retreated to Spectrum…but I rarely record anything since most Aggie games are on ESPN and most of those are replay able after the fact. It you do need TV Provider credentials to authenticate the ESPN app to watch SECN and SECN+ as well as many streams. (ESPN+ is a helpful add but not necessary to watch SECN content and not helpful for most SEC content except some away games at locales like Big 12 schools…)
Afaik now, YouTubeTV only has one sub. It includes ESPN and therefore the ESPN app and SECN+. It's what I'm currently using

If you have littles.....Disney+, HULU and ESPN+ bundle is simply amazing.
