We need to come up with some chants for during the baseball games. Last year in the championship Vol fans over powered us because they have easy chants "let's go vols". We have all year at Blue Bell to make something tradition. I know they're high school chants but something simple like Texas Aggies or let's go Ags would get the crowd over into it in Nebraska. Just a thought, flame away.

We need someone (or a pair of someones), who can obnoxiously whistle. Then, the crowd can clap along.
Boo to heckling by rote! The best of what is done at Olsen has evolved naturally. In other words, if something comes about by the fans at Olsen, great but otherwise no.
Also, if you gave two seconds thought about it, Ags already have a yell that could fill this void along what other SEC schools do but in all my 40 years of following Fightin' Texas Aggie Baseball have I actually heard it at the ballpark.

Somebody needs to volunteer to whistle real loud and then the crowd claps along.
Being there for games 1 and 2, I did not perceive Vols fans "overpowering" us. Watching game 3 on tv from home, it maybe felt like they were a little, but they also had a significant lead the entire game so, hard to really compare
Maybe post this in the softball yearly thread abd see if they bite…but usually in women's softball that comes from dugouts not stands.
I was there and youre not wrong. The Olson traditions just dont work in these neutral site situations where the whole fanbase interacts. Yes it would help to add some of these.MoneyMarcel said:

I mean the chants are corny as hell but they get the average fan involved that just show up to the big games or neutral sites.

However this is not the first time someone has brought this up on TexAgs and nothing has come of it and I doubt anyone will be able to convince most Aggie baseball fans to do something like this. Heck we can't even get Olsen to slow down the Ball 5 chant. anyways it is possible to be loud without football Rah Rah type chants.
