We scored all 10 against Purdue in the first 4, but 17, correction it was 19, of the 21 against Baylor and Utah St. were in the 5th and 6th.

10 runs in the 5th and 6th in the first game, 9 runs in the 5th and 6th tonight. We were behind going in to the 5th in both games.

Are we expecting to see any of the freshmen pitch this weekend?

SEC Softball is 23-1 today in all games, not counting Oklahoma holding a 7 run lead in the bottom half of the 6th over Cal. St. Fullerton.

Seems like this team needs to play 3-4 innings before they bring it. Need to figure that out and come out ready to play first game tomorrow.

I don't actually know the answer but tomorrow's opener at 4:30 pm would seem like the most likely spot. We will find out soon I guess.

These girls are going to give me heart attack. Great comeback tonight. Defense needs to come focused tomorrow. Both games should be fairly easy wins. Just need to clean up some of the mistakes.

Would be nice if we can get through the day without needing Lefty to pitch. I don't mind if she does pitch. Coach probably wants to pump her stats a bit and help her have an all American looking resume. I just hope we pitch because we want to and not because we need to.

Across all teams in this tournament it appears bats are ahead of defense and pitching in terms of being ready

I mentioned last night I was disappointed in the crowd for opening day. Tonight the crowd was great. Once the momentum started to shift in the 5th I think the crowd gave A&M a boost and put a lot of pressure on Baylor.
