A friend's kids hated the snow.

She had them out there in non water resistant clothes and gloves. Of course they're going to hate it!

I mean, unless you ski you're not going to have the right gear to enjoy snow.

I couldn't keep mine in. If they got cold and wet, they just came in and changed into dry layers and went back out.

can't make decent snowballs with well-insulated gloves…which water proof gloves tend to be.

But you CAN lose your Aggie ring without gloves making snowballs…

What? TrueTexan saying that. It's damn easy to make amazing snowballs with ski gloves on.

But, i did lose my ring in snow in baltimore, so the second part is right.

My maternal grandfather lost his Class of '25 ring while fishing in Whiskey Bay back in the 1950s. My grandmother bought him a new one that year for Christmas. If any of you are into diving, it's probably still there for the taking.
