The Buc-ees building, and that other one they already built, took what I considered the best spot simply because we could have still had a park by the tracks, but your favorite spot has a lot to argue for it.

In any case, if we do the player facilities, then we are stuck at the current location. I sure wish someone would rethink this, but the train seems to have left the station.
I need to get back into a leadership role.

Bring $75 million and they will put the stadium wherever you would like.

Don't think it's that easy. Dealing with a huge bureaucracy.

It should be built right across from Century Square near the Bonfire memorial. Our former coach and I talked about that and it made perfect sense. Hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, are already there.

Put an elevated walking bridge and just walk to the games and back. But, we being Aggies are putting some Fine Arts building there which in my opinion should be out by the Bush Library.

This would be an awesome spot for a ballpark. The atmosphere would tick up a notch I think and I love the idea of the walking bridge. Too bad they didn't do this.

well if you're not currently a TMF member you're not getting seats after the reno. I think they will give some first shot at seats to current season ticket holders, then open it up to TMF members and the selection will go by PP. There may be some limited singles left, but I doubt it.

Also we're not building some 15K stadium, there isn't room. That's why i hope it all gets scrubbed and the figure out a way to move it.

And kind of like the Buccee's deal,I will believe the renovation when I see it. I think we get the player's stuff no matter what.

IMO i'd put it where rec fields are across from T&F, you can build a walkway to the parking at Bush, you'll still have Reed, and RV lot at Tennis.

I've been told by some that the university doesn't want to move it because part of the reno is to upgrade some infrastructure around the Rec center and they want athletics to pay for it

I don't think its a bad thing if we don't expand. Unless it is trying impacting NIL, then I can understand.

In fairness it won't be just some fine arts building it will be around $300 million and between this new building, the Aplin Center, and the New Small Animal Hospital the University will have three of the most impressive facilities on campus being built within a few years of each other.

Which issues? There are definitely some in 206 that I see listed high and with different folks in them nearly every game.

People just don't ***** when they are empty because TV doesn't show them.
I'm pretty sure there are a lot of tickets in 206 that are faculty, staff, and TMF tickets that get passed around to many different folks.

There's 2 specific sets that I'm thinking of, both down low, that had some real annoying folks in them last year.

I agree. It is just the location. Seems like the Fine Art deal would be perfect by the Bush Library. And a baseball park would be great tied into Century Square.

And I think everyone knows I prefer baseball over fine arts.

Man I wish I had it. Baseball renovation desperately needs major donors. They seem snakebit on finding them.
