Finally got the seat selection email, I'm prolly near the back of the line but got just after noon on 12/5/24. Where is everybody else at?
You mean the year that some of us actually get to see the selection screen instead of the "Sold out!" email? Yeah, I agree it's unlikely but with the price increases there might be some shake up.RED AG 98 said:

I'm hoping 3B bleachers. But at that point, you have to play the whole "is this better than just buying a dozen games on secondary?" gameTexDill15 said:aTm 99 said:You mean the year that some of us actually get to see the selection screen instead of the "Sold out!" email? I'm at 3:08 12/5. No shot of seeing anything. Lol
Yes. Very few season tickets come available each year. It just depends on how many current season ticket holders renewed.Aggie_Fire said:

This will be my first attempt at getting season tickets. So it sounds like they're usually sold out immediately?
I thought that only people that already have seats got access to the seat selection but I guess it makes sense to line everybody up in case there are more drops. As for me, I've got seats and hoping to improve them but I doubt that will be an option.RED AG 98 said:I'm hoping 3B bleachers. That's a positive in my book. Glad they are paying attention.12th Man Ag said:
I doubt it will make a big dent, but I was told today the TMF recalled tickets from some who were doing nothing but scalping.
I hope that is true! It drives me nuts to see all of the resale tickets from people who never planned to go to the games at all12th Man Ag said:

Is there any further information on this? We all know it happens but trying to understand how they determined who was using them versus just scalping them.12th Man Ag said:

Did they limit the # of seats you can add this year, or has that been there?
This is correct but I believe there are some very longtime season ticket holders with more than 4 but have had them since before the 4 seat limit was imposed and they are grandfathered.12th Man Ag said:jigsaw87 said:

You can only have 4 on an account
12th Man Ag said:
Correct. They didn't take away any seats from those who had more than 4, but no one is able to have more than 4 now. Not sure if that will change with the new stadium in 2027 or not.
We are a family of 5 (our oldest is now a student so she gets her student tickets) and there always seemed to be one kid/parent that had something going on or couldn't make it anyway so it wasn't a big problem for us. When there was a game that everybody could make and wanted to attend, we would either get a GA ticket or call up some of the other season ticket holders that we knew near our seats. With only a few rare exceptions, you could always squeeze another person in, especially if you know the people sitting around you.TexDill15 said:12th Man Ag said:

What does a family of 5 do? I mean it's not that rare to have 3 kids. Or do they expect most of ticket holders to be on the back stage of parenting and empty nesters?
I honestly don't know if there is a seat selection held for current season ticket holders who want to re-locate and/or add additional seats and then they offer what's left to those on the "waiting list" or if they do it all at the same time.JeepWaveEarl said:
I'm on the wait list (I thought) but didn't get any information -- is there something I'm missing, or was there not even a cut? I am looking for 2-4 to be able to start taking my kids (now that they enjoy it, it's enjoyable).
Same as aTm 99 above. We have 4 kids, but there has rarely been a time when we needed 6 tickets. Even less pressure now with one graduated from A&M, 2 current students who can get student tickets, and 1 high schooler.TexDill15 said:12th Man Ag said:

No, baseball tickets can't be passed to family unless there are very specific situations (like donating a million+ I'm sure).12th Man Ag said:Same as aTm 99 above. I will encourage my graduates and current students to get tickets in the new stadium though so they can start the process of moving and improving over the years.
Do they allow the transfer of tickets to your children in baseball like they do in football?
