Is it baseball season yet? Which young pitchers are y'all most excited about?

I have been watching, following, playing, and generally enamored with baseball my entire life, and I have zero clue what some of those numbers and acronyms are and mean.

Are they good?

I don't really know.

I hope they're good.

Surely they're good, right?

Most of the stats posted in those tweets are sustained velo, top velo, spin rates, release angles, and how many inches of break a ball has. IVB is induced vertical break, HB is horizontal break.

Game of analytics

Morton's slider spin rate of 3106 Revolutions per minute is disgusting. MLB avg on sliders is around 2400 RPM.
