I've done an 180 on the guy. I used to think he was a cancer to the game. Now I appreciate the unfiltered passion and support for his players and team, and seeing it reciprocated for him by his players. You can't question his leadership.

It strikes me how much I didn't like him and then dealing with a snake in the program made me do a 180 in my estimation of him

He's certainly not the most hateable coach in college baseball anymore. So he's got that going for him.

Agreed with other posters, used to not like the guy but he stands up for his players and obviously has a great baseball mind. He shows a lot of passion and doesn't have much of a filter.

Always liked the guy but thought he was a little to volatile at times. But after him and are former dueschbag got into it I like him that much more. Definitely alot clearer on who is the good guy and who belongs in that crap hole known as Austin.

Tony V has an almost cult-like following that neither Heupel (football) nor Barnes (basketball) enjoy. If he doesn't get snatched away by the MLB, he may end up with a remarkably impressive future at Tennessee.

I still think he's a ***** He's just not as much of a **** as pos.

He seems like a good dude to have a beer with but his in game antics still annoy me.
