Got signed up on 9/10!

(Im)patiently awaiting registration opening for the summer camps now.

I hope they will have a good plan for this, but I'm worried about them having two camps on 12/8 when the BCS Marathon is the same day. The full marathon route goes right by Olsen.

Should be fine. At 8:30 the marathon will still be blocking me in. By 1:30, they should be done running past Olsen.

Yeah, I just looked and was reminded that they close one lane on the southbound side of Olsen Blvd from 5:00am to 12:30pm. That should be okay given the entrance to the Olsen lot on the northbound side. The light at Wellborn and George Bush always seems to be a problem on the half-marathon course, too.

I'm just thinking about the people from out of town or not knowing the race is going on. Those situations can get really tricky in my experience, but hopefully UPD, PTTS, and others will be out in full yellow gloved whistling force.

I feel certain Hutch will let those registered for that day know about it.

Dropped Mal off this morning in this nasty weather. He's either gonna love it or never play baseball again. Anyone else got a kid here today?

Mine is going tomorrow. He is a 2026 Pitcher.

We were there for the hitting camp last night. Other than about 15 minutes where it was raining, it wasn't too bad.

My son was supposed to be there today, but he made a UIL team at school and the competition is today, so we had to cancel the camp. He was pretty bummed. My nephew is there though, and based on the videos my sister has sent me, my son may be glad he got to stay inside today.

It's been cold and raining all day today. I'm bringing Mal a warm dry hoodie and blanket for the ride home.

What players do they have there today helping? Last night it was just Prager (and Claunch and Jace, as staffers). It was awesome to see Troy back in maroon.

Justin Lamkin, Blake Binderup, and Peyton Smith were all there this morning.

Tomorrow is supposed to be much drier than today.
