I meant under the current premium seats.OilAg01 said:
The problem with dropping the field is you have to push the field back towards the rec center and the tracks to add more seats in the lower sections, which reduces outfield seating. Now, that might be a better solution monetarily than adding stands in the outfield given the price of a Field Club seat vs. an outfield seat. Maybe you could stick still stick a few seats out there or shorten the field a few feet. I wonder how many rows/seats they could actually add if they dropped the field?
It's really too bad we're so confined by the current foot print. The rec center expansion really cut into what could be done there for left field. We just lack space for additional premium seats behind home plate.
It all depends on how many seats we add. Most of this talk has to do with keeping seats, and what kind of efforts the TMF will make to ensure that the seats are owned by long time baseball fans who attend games rather than high priority point people simply taking advantage of an opportunity to buy without a firm plan to attend games. If we add enough seats, you'll be able to get tickets without having a huge priority points number. The big question is, will you have to have a huge priority points number to keep your seats, or something like your current seats, for current season ticket holders.Scott88ag12 said:
Count me as one who just wants to get in... no need for premium.
I had football tickets for 24 years and based on what's been said here sounds like I'd still be waiting with everyone else...

Anybody with connections know when the plans are coming out?
I certainly understand the sentiment, but keep in mind the funding required to meet your expectations and pony up,JW1612 said:

We have a designated "Person of Suck"!!??
2 questions...
1) who is this person?, and
2) why is her name trouble?

No waitlist. you sign up for interest in baseball tickets. after renewals, you get into the reseating process based on priority points. Last year you needed top 2500 to get 3BL seats if you did not previously have tickets. there are some threads that talked about the process/availability last year you can search for.
Follow the link below and fill out the ticket interest form...Canyon99 said:Alr3111 said:

When and where do you sign up for interest in tickets?
Many BMA's helped with the NIL to keep the tea intact. I'm sure they will get first dibs on seats for this upcoming season.12th Man Ag said:
Do you think the new donors are clamoring for seats behind home plate or between 1st and 3rd? My gut says there are A LOT of fans that just want to get into the ballpark. So, adding some premium seats behind home and between 1st and 3rd might be needed, I think just pushing both decks out to left field, adding some premium bullpen or whatever areas, and expanding around the outfield will meet the pent up demand.
I could be wrong though. Maybe there are a lot of BMA's that want to be involved in baseball now that we are on an upper trajectory? I think most of those folks wanting tickets would be happy to get some armchair seats down the left field line, but I could be totally off.

Personally, I want to get first rights to get my seats.

I'd guess most if not all the BMAs who stepped up big for NIL already have seats in Olsen. And if not, they likely have enough PP to be first in line already.

Now, maybe if someone makes a sizable contribution to the stadium renovation (twk mentioned $100k above) maybe they get in line first (in order of their donation above $100k) after season ticket holders, but before a PP selection.
I think that rebuilding the stadium so more can enjoy means funding it. But having a plan to bring the current season ticket holder along while carefully limiting their property rights after death sounds fine. Of the husband and wife that is.12th Man Ag said:BiochemAg97 said:TAMU1990 said:Many BMA's helped with the NIL to keep the tea intact. I would put the BMA's who donate to NIL in the same boat as BMA's that make contributions to the stadium expansion. From my earlier post:Quote:

I still think season ticket holders should always get first right of refusal.
