Tickets go on sale Tuesday April 22nd at 10am CDT. Make sure you are signed up for emails so you get the direct link sent to you. I'm fairly certain the link to sign up is earlier in this thread.

So I decided right after we beat Florida to go to finals against Tennessee. I was looking at ticket prices on secondary market during Florida game and they jumped up quite a bit as soon as we won. The algorithm knows I suspect. My friend and I bought all three games later that night. We paid quite a bit for game one and less for game two and then less for game three if there was one. I wanted to wait on game three but my friend wanted to have tickets in hand and not risk it.

What I learned was this. You will have to pay up for game one because it is the one most in demand. However we could have paid less for game two if we waited until we got there. Game three if it happens is the catch. Many Aggies and vols could only make the first two games because some had go back to work on Monday which is when final game is played. We watched many leave hotels right after game two on Sunday. We paid about $175-200 each for game three but right before game three the secondary market had prices for about $30. There were some empty seats for game three. If I go again I will just buy game one and get games two and three later.

Any way to know when we'd be home or visitors? That's not determined until they get to Omaha, correct?

Correct. Whichever games I get, I'm going to try to snag seats on both sides. I'm probably only going to try for the final series.

I made hotel reservations in April with a cancellation date the day before the finals in case we didn't make it. As soon as we beat Florida we actually were able to change hotels because we got a better deal. We stayed in walking distance to the park. HAD A BLAST.

I didn't buy tickets until after we beat Florida to go to the finals. I had to buy for 3 (me, spouse, and youngest kid). One son was in a group and they got tickets early and they were much cheaper. My daughter didn't want to go! She has changed her mind and will this year if we make it.

Tip - do not buy game 3 tickets until the day of the game. They were dropping in price all day.

I usually buy GA tickets right before the game
Then I loiter on the concourse and look at tickets on the Web that aren't taken. By the 2nd inning they plummet. I usually end up sitting dugout to dugout for less than I could have bought outfield seats for before the game started.

Just depends on how much you want to mess around. If you go to 1-2 games it's probably not worth it. I go to quite a few.

Don't get your hopes up thinking you're going to snag any seats worth having when they go on sale. I took a shot last year and the digital queue was a digital mile long with nothing worth getting when it finally hit. (Not to mention it's a crap-shoot on which games the Ags will be, home/visitors, etc.)

Took the family to the Ags' midweek (both 1p) Omaha games in 2022, and then every Ag game last year (all evening games except Champ G2) - and the best way is to buy them game by game. The closer to game time the lower the price, and the 1p games are easy/cheap tickets to get.

Trouble - we were behind you and the family leaving one of the games last year. I can't remember which game (later in the week, I think) but it was going south on 10th St towards the Hilton/DJ's. Recoginzed you and the kids from pics on here. Hope yall had a great time.

We sat in the outfield last year for all 3 games we were at and loved it. Game 1 we were right next to our bullpen and the boys got to talk with some of their favorites. That's what I'm going to try to get again.

If you ever see us again, holler. I answer to trouble.

Funny enough it was only our games that commanded sticker shock type pricing. All other games were a quarter of the price (and in line with most years).

What is your definition of sticker shock?

I showed up w/5 of the 6 in my family w/no tickets for the Finals. Spent $1500 for 4 tickets in Sect 108, under the eave in the Aggie section & found an outfield ticket for $100. The baseball season ticket holder I bought them from was trying to sell them for $1500/ea(You Aggie season ticket holders can ***** amongst yourselves.)

Sunday, Josh Stewart's aunt gave us 2 tickets behind home plate, bought 4 more around the stadium for $200, seats opened up about the 7th. Sat next to folks who have had tickets for 40 years, they have 8 seats they share amongst family.

Monday, had 2 drop in my lap from another Bag, against back wall behind home plate. Spent $50 for 2 more outfield seats & got 1 more from a friend.

Bottom line, if you're patient, you can get seats & not break the bank, IMO. I splurged day 1 b/c I set a limit on what I'd spend.

Great memories, will do it again if we get to finals.

This is my understanding too UNLESS you want guaranteed seats. I am frugal and would go to as many as humanly possible but not overpay.

Got 5 each to games 1 & 2 of the championship series.

Don't sweat it if you don't get tickets through the presale as you shouldn't have an issue finding tickets day of the games. Be patient and don't overpay as they will become available throughout the day.

Received an email yesterday with a presale code. Got in the waiting room 15 minutes before presale started at 10 am. Still had about 5000 in front of me for game one and 3600 in front of me for game two.

Edit: I signed up for the MCWS ticket notification last year.

I took this advice last year and ended up overpaying for game 1 the day of because there was nothing left leading up to the game

I did the same and was told "oops the sell didn't give us the tickets you bought" 3 hours before the damn game two last year.

Yeah this is bad advice for game 1. Prices never went down.

We are going to the CWS June 15-19. My family can handle the sun, but my mom can't. Best way to get 2 tickets in the shade for day games? Also, best place to get resale tickets? Do people stand outside the park or should I go to the NCAA verified resale site? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Use verifies sites, but watch for the fees. Vivid seats was tacking on $100 to each ticket last year, way out-doing even Ticketmaster.

As for shaded seats, use the seating charts, and sit towards the back of the lower sections for shade.
