2B is where he'll be in '25.

Kent is good defensively. Ali is Elite defensively .

We have a SS coming.

Need to get through the MLB draft and have them make it to campus.

Farr is the HS prospect I think is most likely to make it to school but it's not a given. I think Sanford is using us for leverage, but I will be excited if he made it. According to Brauny he's similar in talent to Jace and Gavin. IMO I think he should go to school and come out in 3 years a mid to high 1st rounder like they will.

The kid has the IT factor and has the offseason to hone the skills he and the coaches believe is necessary to be an even bigger impact as an upperclassmen. Nobody on this site actually knows anything about where he fits best. The end.

I think most are focused in the wrong area. Kent has plenty of arm. It is more about footwork and proper angles to the balls and setup for his throws. The most important question is does he have the foot speed and quickness to the ball of a future MLB SS? That would be my only question about Kent as SS. Not a question about his arm.

Most third basemen have the arm to play short, its the footwork, speed, and agility that are the difference. His dad played everywhere in the infield for that reason.
